No,I'm not misspelled the title, I did write cards, since today I'll review about 2 cards from a new booster set, Storm Of Ragnarok. From this day 'till 3 days later,I'll keep on posting about this 'brand new' archetype-well if it is not as new as I said-the new expansion of six samurai!
Yes,I'm going to review about Shin Roku Bushuu(True Six Samurai)
The first that I'm going to review is Kizan , the first announced SRB in the series
Warrior/Effect/earth
****/1800/500
"If you control a face-up "Six Samurai" monster, except "True Six Samurai - Kizan", you canSpecial Summon this card from your hand. While you control 2 or more other face-up "Six Samurai" monsters, this card gains 300 ATK andDEF."
Being a level 4 warrior type monster means that he can be RotA-ed and normal summoned easily. It's effect that can be special summoned when there is a face-up six samurai except this card give more advantage to this card, since you can normal summon him and special summon grandmaster. It's effect provides him an ATK and DEF boost so he gets the same stats with his older version and gives you 2 2100 ATK points monster in a single turn!If you have a gateway, you could even add more kizan to your hand and performing an OTK is possible!
next we have Enishi, the second SRB that will be reviewed.
Warrior/Effect/light
****/1700/700
"Once per turn, if you control a "Six Samurai" monster other than "True Six Samurai - Enishi", you can remove from play 2 "Six Samurai" monsters from your Graveyard to select 1 face-up monster on the field and return it to its owner's hand. This effect can also be activated during your opponent's turn. Also, while you control 2 or more "Six Samurai" monsters other than "True Six Samurai - Enishi", this card gains 500 ATK and DEF."
The effect of this card is similar to the older version of enishi, but instead of destroying one card it return one card from the field to its owner hand. Also by having 2 or more six samurai monsters on the field, this card gains 500 ATK and DEF,giving him the same stats with his older version.
That's all for today and I'm going to review more Shin Roku Bushuu tomorrow and this week will be a samurai week!
