Announcement about Rulings

For those who play the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game, we always wish to improve the game so that our customers can enjoy an exciting Duel at any time. Though we commonly change the rules of each card we make for the concerns of Game Balance, at this time, we would like to announce we are changing the way monsters' Ignition Effects work.

Date of the Ruling Change being applied
Saturday, March 19, 2011

This ruling goes into effect on Saturday, March 19th, 2011, which is the same date as the release of our Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal Official Card Game "Starter Deck".

The Point of the Rule's Change:
Before:
Monsters with Ignition Effects could activate their effects at the same time they were Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned.

After:
Monsters with Ignition Effects cannot activate their effects at the same time they were Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned.

A monster's Ignition Effect basically becomes an effect that can be activated during the Main Phase so long as there is nothing else going on at the same time. So now, if another effect or action is resolving, you cannot activate an Ignition Effect until the timing of that specific effect has ended.

You can continue to use the old ruling of using Ignition Effects when you Normal, Flip, or Special Summon until March 18th, 2011 ends. Afterward, it is forbidden to do so from March 19th, 2011 onwards.

Tournament Report @ Colossus 19 Feb 2011

Hello, readers!

Here is Tri-Edge. It's been a while since I wrote for this blog. This time, I got two things to share!

1. Indonesia's finally becoming an official region of Konami! If I remember correctly, it's not up yet in Konami's official site, but this post is guaranteed NOT a hoax.
2. Preparing and greeting for Indonesia's appointment as an official region, a friend of mine, who's just back from Japan for his study, held an OCG tournament on Sat, 19 Feb 2011. This is the tournament that I am going to report.

So!

Without further delay, let's get to the topic. This time around, I brought a Six Samurai deck for the tournament. Report:

R1: Vs Steven W.L. (Blackwings)
G1: I got a very bad hand, with only one samurai and none of the Spell/Trap supports. When I finally had the chance to summon two Samurais while having United, he Icarus Attack'ed me, and leaving my lone Kizan devoured by Bora-Kalut.

Later on, I could fight back with Shi En and stuff, but he summoned a Gale while already having an Armed Wing. A 1250 ATK Shi En with only one Book of Moon, I can't stop both monsters. My next draw was only a Kizan. If I kill f/d Armed Wing, Gale would kill him. But if I kill Gale, Armed Wing will kill him too. So, it's a loss for me.

G2: My hand went bad again. Fortunately, around my 2nd turn I got Consecrated Light, which stalled the duel for 2-3 exchanging turns. Finally I can collect my hand slowly and come Synchroing monsters. One funny moment is, when I put down my Shi En while Consecrated Light is on. I forgot about that guy's attribute. One audience told me that I couldn't summon Shi En, so I summoned Trishula instead :v

and won.

G3: My hand was bad, again. Seriously, his hand's shuffling is something else. Anyhow, I stalled the duel again with Consecrated Light. He's a lifesaver, when backed with Book of Moon and stuffs. I forgot the rest, but won with Synchros, later, later, LATER on late-games.

R2: VS Rafael Kenny (Gladiator Beasts)
G1: Forgot how it went, won.
G2: Spam Synchros, kthxbai :v (it is that simple)

R3: VS Adam (Machina)
G1: Got an average hand, but managed to summon Shi En first turn. It seems his hand wasn't that good, he didn't get either Gearframe or Fortress, so he killed my Shi En with a lot of minus, by summoning CyDra, Jinzo Returner, then sending them into Chimeratech Fortress, backed with Solidarity.

Then, since my hand was unavailable for Synchros, I was stalled by the wave of his big monsters. Fortunately, I got a lot of Dimensional Prisons and Mirror Forces, but his Gadgets slowly recovered his hand disadvantage (while I can't swarm at the moment). But in the end, I won by Synchroing monsters.

G2: He went first, summoned Gearframe and ended. I love it when he ended his turn without setting any backrows. I activate 1 Gateway, Kageki - Kagemusha --> Shi En, then swarmed the field into Shi En, GMOSS, and 3 Kizans. (I had one GMOSS in hand). Win.

R4: VS Randa (Watt-Burn)
Now, don't let the deck deceive you. Randa's been known as one of the best Burn players whose Burn decks can even rival a meta deck.

G1: Summoned Kagemusha - GMOSS, setting backrows and end because there's no good Lv7's. It was my downfall. Leaving the two on the field, Lava Golem ate them. Then I Warning'ed it, because in my previous Match with him in another tournament, I see that he can hold that f***ing Lava Golem long enough to make my LP go red.

Hmm, then I don't remember much about the rest, but the effects of Watt monsters are really disruptive. Later on, he pulled Gozen Match (IT'S MAIN DECKED!!!!) and I had to kill my Enishi (the old Enishi) and Hand to leave GMOSS on the field. Then I forgot how, but I can make a lot of Synchros during the next 2 turns, giving me a field of Scrap Dragon, Goyo Guardian, GMOSS (all EARTH). But a Battle Fader stopped the track. Then a Ceasefire went to kill me. Lose.

G2: Spam 5 monsters during first turn. Got stalled for 2 turns, but then I won.

G3: He set a monster and ended. I love when there's no backrows, but I got a bad feeling that he put none in his backrow. Nevertheless, I got a GOD hand. Two Gateways, Kageki - Kagemusha - then my possessions exploded into Shi En, GMOSS, 3 Kizans, and in my hand were Kageki, Kagemusha, Hand, and I still had two spare Bushido Counters. (Gateway really MUST BE LIMITED, for god's sake.)

But I ran into Wattdragonfly. He spawned more Dragonflies (I feel like facepalm.jpg when I ran into this monster), and the last Dragonfly into Wattlemur. The last attack went in for 2500 damage. Then his turn. Summoned Wattpheasant, attacked directly and removed my Shi En. I wondered for why. Ah, it turned out he removed him for a f***ing Swords of Revealing Light, a stall card that couldn't be negated by Magatama...

Then I was stalled until SORL expired. During those 3 turns, he summoned more Watts to attack, but I pulled a Mirror to stop his track. Finally, after the SORL wore off, I attacked into... Battle Fader (FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU). He couldn't do much on his next turn. But in my turn, I ran into another Fader (FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU). Finally, after those stalls, I won by attacking with the horde of samurais. Win.

Thus, I scored the 1st place.

My friend let me choose prizes, and I claimed the following:
- Solemn Judgment OCG gold
- Raiza the Storm Monarch TCG gold
- United We Stand OCG common
- COTH OCG common
- Fissure OCG common

That's it for now, and thanks for reading :D

Last words, Gateway is really appropriate for a limit, it has been clear from months ago.

Regards, Tri Edge.

Banlist March 2011

yeah so the banlist are up and it seems what CapCus predicted came out to be almost true, well not ll of it tho.
It seems that BF and QD got hit really hard while Six Sam got 2 of their gates closed. Some deck like light beat got another hit with honest being limited.

Here are the list based on the pic here:
http://imepita.jp/20110217/378730
Forbidden:

Cold Wave
Goyo Guardian
Mass Driver

Limited:

BF-Kalut the Moon Shadow
Book of Moon
Dandylion
Gateway of the Six
Honest

Semi-Limited:

Archlord Christia
Card Trooper
Debris Dragon
Icarus Attack
Megamorph
Royal Tribute
Solemn Warning
Spirit Reaper
Overload Fusion

Unlimited:

Chaos Sorcerer
Dewloren,Tiger Prince of the Ice Barrier
Demise,King of Armageddon
Gold Sarcophagus
Skill Drain
Snipe Hunter
Ultimate Offering

Kalut at 1,icarus at 2 and moon at 1,now BF really got their wings ripped off. Shura no longer can hit freely anymore since no more easy kalut and moon. This gonna get tough for BF players.

Gateway at 1 makes the samurais need to get out one by one from their one and only gate. Slow it down but still strong with only 1 gate. Not to mention the new Dojo.

Dandy at 1 and Debris at 2? No more happy dragon synchro family anymore then. Well at least, not every turn.

Skill drain at 3? Now this what I wish to happen :)

No Cold Wave and Heavy still forbid will cause a huge different in playstyle for this 6 months I believe.Just wait and see what kinds of thing that would happen :)
I hope to see new kinds of deck that are going to rule this game :D

And that's for today sorry for the crappy words can't think much bcoz I got hit by the banlist really hard myself

I'm blitxerg signing off :D

March 2011 Banlist Prediction

A week again, the new banlist will be posted. Everyone must be so excited waiting it. Well, today, I will discuss some cards that may probably be on the list or off the list. Remember, please do take this post as a grain of salt. This is just a speculation, and I am not a seer too.

I will not post all possible cards, but I will post cards that possess the great probability to be in the list

This is a speculation about cards that will be forbidden:
1. Cold Wave: this old card seems to be so notorious since Cat Synchro era. Its ability to lock your opponent's further movement to turn the table is amazing enough to secure yourself as a victory on that duel. Moreover, players who active Cold Wave will spawn their own field with their best monster. I think it is much better to get hit by Heavy Storm since Heavy is a form of "punishment" to a player who carelessly put a lot of cards in their field.

2. Monster Reborn: again, another old card... This card is so wonderful enough to recover your position. You can special summon a monster not only from your grave, but also from your opponent's graveyard.

Limited guys:
1. Dandylion / Debris Dragon / Lonefire Blossom: these 3 guys allow you to perform multiple synchro summon in a single turn. The worst thing is your opponents will summon Black Rose Dragon several times to clear the field. That's not the end, they can still launch their combo to fill their field again via cards such as Glow Up Bulb or Spore (another synchro summon again). I am sure some of these guys will be on the list.

2. Heavy Storm: a mild version of Cold Wave. Remember, this card is less dangerous than Cold Wave because you can still chain your Starlight Road to negate this guy.

3. BW Blizzard the Far North: Instant level 6 monster. Just normal summon it, snatch its friend from the graveyard, and perform synchro summon.

Semi Limited guys:
1. Gateway to the Six: only to reduce the probability of 6Sam deck to reach this card in the first draw. Remember, this card is so broken due to its effect to allow players to add more and more cards to their hand as long as they can increase their bushido counter.

2. GK Recruiter: Goblin Zombie version for Grave Keeper's deck. Just a simple analogy, since Goblin Zombie had been semi limited before, this card is also possible to be semi-limited.

Will be out of the list:
Snipe Hunter, Ultimate Offering, and Dewloren the Tiger Prince -> who uses this card right now???

Here, I will post also cards which may be out of the forbidden status that are discussed in the Yugioh Indonesia forum.
1. Tsukuyomi: many duelists believe this card will be limited.
PROS: nowadays, decks are able to fill their field quickly. Tsukuyomi seems can't do anything to recover this. In addition, Tsukuyomi's friend to launch her combo, such as Mask of Darkness with Time Seal, or Magician of Faith with a certain Spell Card are also forbidden. Returning her to be limited seems not to be a big problem.
CONS: I just imagine what will happen to GB if this card is limited. Yes, it is a free Book of Moon. I you have already prepared a Secutor on your field, then you will need to summon this card. Your opponent's monsters will be turned to be face down position and 2 new GB will hit on the field.
2. Tribe Infecting Virus:
PROS: this card appears as a "punishment" to players who are not able to finish their opponents of after spamming tons of monsters on the field (same with Dark Hole, which punish your opponents if they can't performing OTK after summoning a lot of monsters).
CONS: this card can be a pain in the ass for single-type decks, such as Blackwings, Six Samurai, or Grave Keeper's. At the cost of 1 card, you will be able to clear the field after declaring one type of a monster card.
3. Metamorphosis:
PROS: this card seems to be less effective in this format since there is a limitation for Extra Deck (15 cards only). As a result, players will become so picky because they need to choose cards that will be really helpful. In addition, Thousand Eyes Restrict is also still forbidden, so this card's main combo is still unable to be run.
CONS: Demise OTK ...

Okay, that's for today. I won't post all possible cards, but just cards that are quite strange or possess the greatest threat to be on the list.

Back in BLACKS

No racist at all guys...

Blackwing, a strong deck based on DARK winged-beast type of monster cards, seems to have never lost its fame day by day. Though the limitation of Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind and Black Whirlwind, it doesn't mean that it can hurt BW decks.

Now, I'll introduce you some of BW's important members:
1. BW - Sirroco the Dawn: This guy is a must in BW deck. Having 2000 ATK points and an ability to be normal summoned when you have no monster and pump attack points, this card is really helpful to begin a strong opening. The condition can be even better when you have a Black Whirlwind in your field to grab one more BW to your field. Definitely main 3 copies in your deck.

2. BW - Shura the Blue Flame: Just like Sirroco, this guy is a must in BW decks due to its ability to give you an extra monster when this card can destroy monster and send it to the graveyard. Main 3 obviously. You can run a combo with this card when you can successfully destroy a monster by battle. Just special summon Vayu (remeber Vayu will loss its effect), and you will be able to synchro summon a level 5 monster.

3. BW - Gale the Whirlwind: Though this little guy is now limited, it doesn't mean BW loss its power. It can still be recycled by using BW - Blizzard the Far North. Its ability to shrink attack and defense is amazing enough; making this card will have 2600 attack points.

4. BW - Blizzard the Far North: A revival card; this card is awesome too. Having an ability to revive one BW monster when you normal summon it, this card allows you to perform a single synchro summon in a turn. Though you will loss the effect of a revived BW, it doesn't mean that you are not allowed to synchro summon in your turn, aren't it?

5. BW- Kalut the Moon Shadow: an Honest verion for BW. This card is much better than Honest because you can use this card even though your BW monster doesn't battle with your opponent's monster (you can still active it when you declare a direct attack). Just combo this card with a pumped BW - Bora the Spear to finish your opponent off.

6. BW - Bora the Spear: Having the ability as Gale to special summoned itself when you control another BW cards, this card is really helpful to fill your field. IN addition, this card can also help you to punish your opponent's defense position monster (such as Spirit Reaper and Dandylion along with its token) because of its piercing ability. Combo this card with your Sirroco to raise its attack points and inflict even more damage to your opponent. Maining 3 copies of this card is so suggested.

7. BW- Vayu the Emblem of Honor: The gangster chicken. This card allows you to have an extra normal summon when this card in your graveyard. Though this card is hurtful when it reaches your hand, this chicken is awesome enough if you can special summon it by using Shura effect (remember, Shura will negate every BW card that is special summoned by its effect). Just main 1-2 of this card.

8. Dark Armed Dragon: Though this card is not a BW member, its ability to be special summoned by having exactly 3 DARK monsters in your grave is really cool. Moreover, its ability to destroy your opponent's cards just by removing a DARK monster is so terrifying; making this card appears as a walking Raigeki Break.

9. BW Armor Master: The synchro monster of BW. Having an ability to be invulnerable by battle and reducing attack points, this guy appears to be the captain of BW cards.

10. BW Armed Wing: Though this card is not so wonderful, its effect to pierce and gain extra attack when ram your opponent's monster makes your opponent's speechless when they put a low-defense monster carelessly.

11. Icarus Attack: A nice card to reduce your opponent's cards and turn your dead hand Kalut or Vayu to an excellent decoy. Just be aware with Starlight Road. Strongly suggested to main 3 copies in your deck.

12. Black Whirlwind: A +1 card that allows you grab a new BW when you can normal summon a BW monster successfully. Speed up your deck to snatch this card by using drawer engine that will be explained below.

13. Pot of Duality / Cards for the Black Feathers: BW's draw engine. Those cards allow you to get your Black Whirlwind faster and completely fill our field. Make sure you use them in the appropriate timing since it will avoid you from special summoning any monster that turn.

Well, after discussing BW supports, let's talk about cards that can potentially be a threat for BW deck:

1. Consecrated Light: this little guy, to be honest, is not a threat for BW at all (in my opinion). I am sure no one will put this card in their main deck during the first match since they haven't switched their side deck yet. If you notice your opponent will use this card in the 2nd round, you will just need to main several non DARK monster cards (such as Thunder King Rai Oh or Cyber Dragon). C. Light will simply a -1 card because your opponent will not expect that your prepare those guys to ram over the C. Light.
Another possible way to get rid of this card is by using Icarus Attack. Again, please be aware with Starlight Road.

2. Shadow Imprisoning Mirror: again, this card is only good theoretically against BW deck. Since BW deck runs 2 MST and 3 Icarus, this card will no longer be a threat for BW.

3. Possibly cards with high defense such as Legendary Jujitsu Master and Gravekeeper's Spy possess greater threat for BW since they can bounce your BW monsters.

Finally, here is an example for basic BW deck:
Monsters:(18)
3x BW - Sirroco the Dawn -> a must card. A nice card too because it can take your opponent's BW's attacks since there is no restriction when you want to pump your BW monster.
3x BW - Shura the Blue Flame -> a plus one when you can destroy a monster
3x BW - Kalut the Moon Shadow -> attack booster and icarus decoy
3x BW - Bora the Spear -> punish your opponent's dandylion / tokens / spirit reaper
3x BW - Blizzard the Far North -> instant Goyo / Brionac / Armed Wing / level-6 synchro monsters
1x BW - Vayu the Emblem of Honor -> instant synchro when you can utilize your Shura
1x BW - Gale the Whirlwind -> a must card
1x Dark Armed Dragon -> a must card. A walking Raigeki Break

Spells:(12)
1x Black Whirlwind -> a searcher
3x Book of Moon -> block your opponent from performing synchro summon or help your Shura to kill more monsters
3x Pot of Duality -> speed your up to reach Black Whirlwind
2x MST
1x Monster Reborn
1x Allure of Darkness -> speed yourself up!
1x Dark Hole

Traps:(10)
3x Icarus Attack -> simply change your useless Kalut or Vayu to be a good card to reduce your opponent's cards
2x Bottomless Traphole
1x Solemn Warning
1x Solemn Judgment
1x Torrential Tribute
1x Seven Tools of the Bandit -> protect yourself from annoying trap cards such Mirror Force, Torrential Tribute, or even Starlight Road
1x Royal Oppression -> fill your field with tons of high attack monsters, then active this card when your opponent tries to counter the condition.

Okay, that's all for today.

Extra Way to Dealt With Six Sams

well maybe you guys got a lil' bit confused why I do post another way when CapCus already did.
That's because I've found a funny and well, unusual way to deal with Six Sams.

Basically, this combo can be pulled off easily in an Anti-Meta deck since this combo almost ruined 60-70% of a six sam deck.

What you need to do this combo (don't forget that you have to SET the monster so it's ATK still 2800) :

THE WORD "SPELL"

Basically,it will destroy all spell that they have in their field and hand, also spell cards that they draw for 3 turns.

For whose deck aren't anti meta, you can substitute fusilier with this one

And still use the combo above.

No,I didn't mean to tribute puppet plant with EEV but I mean to tribute Shi En for EEV. For some reason ppl tends to do synchro 1st,then summon another monster, and not the way around,so when you steal their Shi En and tribute it with EEV,they won't have any face-up Six Sam monster on the field to fulfill the requirements for magatama.

If you go 1st turn, don't worry about how many six sam they had since they can't activate magatama yet ( considering it's your opp 1st turn and they go 2nd).

And that's all for today

Tomorrow's val day so have fun :D

I'm off

How to Get Rid of Six Samurai

As we know, that new deck are really intimidating right now. It skills to fill their field and hand is really irritating.

Here are some examples that can be used to counter those decks:

1. The best way to slow the down is by using Solemn brothers (in this case, you have to get the first turn. make sure you cancel Kageki from being summoned). The most important is to block them from summoning the very first monster. Gateway and United are annoying, but they are useful if your opponent is able to summon a samurai monster first (they can add more counters). Otherwise, they are not so controlling.

2. If you get the second turn, it's a bit hard because your opponent will synchro Shi En to secure the field. As a result, you will need at least 2 cards to shut it up.
Cards like Warrior Elimination, Dark Hole or Fossil Dyna is good enough to clear the whole field, but please be aware that they can counter it by using Magatama Musakani.

3. Thunder King is also useful enough to prevent them from adding more cards to the field or summoning Shi En.

4. Ojama Trio? Yes, it is good. Summoning 3 Ojama Tokens in your opponent's field can lock their choice off. As a result they can only summon 2 monsters only. If you play GB, you will also get advantage, why? Yes, you can get 3 attacks for free because Ojama tokens are placed in DEF position

5. Another choice is Kinetic Soldier. Having an ability to gain additional attack boost if it battles a warrior type monster is good enough to eliminate Shi En, then you can launch cards that has ability to destroy monsters such as Warrior Elimination.

6. Gozen Match. Since Six Sam play a lot of different attribute, they may have a problem to decide which attribute should be kept in their field.

7. Trap Dustshoot. Believe it or not. Though most player underrate this card due to the banning of Heavy Storm, this card is so awesome if you grab it in a very first turn. You can seize your opponent's movement and return the most crucial monster in their hand to the deck.

Okay, I think that's all for today. See you next time

Meet the GLADS Family

Who hasn't known GB (Gladiator Beast)? Everyone who plays YuGiOh well must know this archtype. This archtype firstly started its debut from Gladiator's Assault booster pack several years ago. Furthermore, GB also gained several supports until it got its "boss" card, Gladiator Beast Gyzarus. However, banlist limited GB Bestiari and made this deck a little bit slower because you need to play your Bestiari carefully.

Okay, I think I am going to discuss some of potential cards in GB deck and also several examples of GB decks. Enjoy dude...

1. GB Laquari: this is the main striker in GB. Having the highest original attack among other GB's and its ability to contact fuse into GB Heraklinos, this card is a must in every GB deck. I personally suggest you to main 2 Laquaris in your deck. Three is just too much considering GB uses as less monster as possible, but it's still okay.

2. GB Bestiari: The spell/trap cards breaker. This card is a must too in GB, so you can summon GB Gyzarus. Please use this card carefully because you can only have one copy of this card in your deck. Just be careful with bottomless, prison, or D.D. Crow when it hits your graveyard.

3. GB Murmillo: The monster exterminator. This card is awesome if you are able to tag this out successfully, but this card will become trash when it hits your hand. Always main one copy of this card in your deck.

4. GB Darius: Monster reborn version for GB. This card can help you to easily summon Gyzarus. Just dump your bestiari with your Elemental Hero Prisma, then tag Prisma with Test Tiger, and special summon this horse; its effect will revive the dumped Bestiari and jeng jeng jeng... Gyzarus is ready to clean the field. You can put one to two copy of this card in your deck; it depends on your taste.

5. GB Retiari: The shadow of GB deck. Having an ability to wipe your opponent's graveyard, this card can help you to remove annoying graveyard -based cards such as Dandylion, Plaguespreader Zombie, or Blackwing Vayu the Emblem of Honor. Main only one of this card because this card concept is just like Murmillo: awesome if you can tag it out successfully, but sucks if you draw it in your hand.

6. GB Equeste: The recycling machine of GB. Most players use this card to revitalize GB Chariot, but you can use this card to grab your fallen GB. Obviously main two copy of this card in your deck.

7. GB Samnite: This guy seems to be useless right because if the banning of Rescue Cat. Otherwise, you can combo this card with Rescue Cat. I will not use this card on my deck, but if you are still interested, you can main only one.

8. GB Secutor: This card is actually really cool. You can summon 2 fresh GB's from your deck after this card attacks or is attacked. Secutor can be a good engine to summon GB Heraklinos quickly. However, once you get this card in your hand, you will curse this card. Yes, this card has no ability to tag itself out. Thus, the only way to deal with this card when it reaches your hand is by using Test Tiger.

9. GB Hoplomus: This is a GB's fortress. Having 2100 defense, it is enough to block your opponent from performing further attack. However, this card is just awesome in the beginning of the game. Drawing this card in the mid or last game will be a bit useless since you will have to start your big play.

10. GB Gyzarus: The boss card in GB deck. having an ability to destroy up to 2 cards on the field and tag itself out, this card appears to be the bounty hunter of GB deck. Obviously, main 3 copies of this card in your extra deck.

11. GB Heraklinos: The winning condition of GB. If you can summon this card, hold 2 cards or more in your hand, and have a set of GB Chariot, you will be able to control the rest of your duel. Having 3000 attack and an ability to negate spell/trap cards effect, this card is awesome enough to protect your GB from your opponent's reverse cards.

12. GB Chariot: Divine Wrath for GB. This card seems to be staple in GB deck. Its ability to negate effect at no cost at all (you only have to control at least a GB on the field) is strong enough to lock your opponent from capitalizing monster's effects. Strongly suggested to main 3 copies of this card.

13. Test Tiger: GB's pet. This card helps you to tag out your GB's. Main 2-3 copies in your deck.

Well, I think that's all cards that are considered to be staples in GB deck. Next, let's discuss about related cards:

1. Elemental Hero Prisma: This card is used to summon Gyzarus easily. You only need to have this card and a single copy of Test Tiger, and you can make the threatening Gyzarus hits your field. Just be careful when you play this card because your opponent can chain a D.D. Crow to remove your dumped Bestiari from play and wreck your combo. Main 1 to 2 of this card in your deck; again, it depends on your taste. P.S. If you use 2 Prisma, it will be better to add Stratos too in your deck. However, this issue is a bit debatable because Stratos only has 1800 attack (he can be destroyed by cards such as Flamevell Dog or Kalut-boosted BW Shura), and also this card can make GB Chariot as a dead card if you use this card in the wrong timing.

2. GB Respite: I don't think this card is necessary in GB deck. Well, to be honest, you only get to main this card in your deck if you have a lot of GB in your deck (more than 15 GB, you will have to use it in order to avoid dead hand). I also suggest you to avoid using this card along with Prisma Combo (2 Prisma and 1 Stratos) because it will potentially lead you to a dead hand.

3. Waboku: Excellent card to protect your monsters from becoming destroyed. However, I tend to run 3 copies of Book of Moon or 2 BoM's and a Enemy Controller rather than this card. Remember, Royal Decree and Tra[ Stun can be found everywhere.

Allright, now let's discuss some supports for GB that have been released in OCG version:
1. GB Tegale: stronger version of Secutor (its inability to tag himself out is really similar with Secutor). This card is not so good unless you run a lot of GB monsters. In addition, you can't use this card to summon GB boss cards (Gyzarus and Heraklinos). This card is just like a monster version of Gladiator Proving Ground. I suggest you to main one copy in your deck.

2. GB Lanista: having attack as high as Laquari, this card is cool enough to be put in your deck. Also, its ability to change his name by removing from play a GB in your grave makes this card an emergency version of Bestiari. In addition, this card also makes Icarus Glads playable. Remember, you can have at least 5 Winged Beast type of GB in your deck (2 Equestes, 2 Lanistas, 1 Bestiari, and occasional Gyzarus)

As I promised you before, in this part I will give some examples of GB deck, check it out dude!
Prisma GLADS:
Monsters:(15)
2x E Hero Prisma
1x E Hero Stratos
2x GB Darius
2x GB Equeste
2x GB Laquari
1x GB Bestiari
1x GB Murmillo
1x GB Retiari
3x Test Tiger
Spells:(10)
1x Reinforcement of the Army
1x Gladiator Proving Ground
1x Cold Wave
1x Giant Trunade
1x Monster Reborn
1x Dark hole
3x Book of Moon
1x Enemny Controller
Traps:(15)
3x GB Chariot
2x Bottomless Trap Hole
2x Dimensional Prison
1x Solemn Warning
1x Solemn Judgment
1x Seven Tools of the Bandit
1x Compulsory Evacuation Device
1x Mirror Force
1x Torrential Tribute
2x Trap Stun

That's the sample of standard Prisma GB. You can still change that as much as you can. This deck doesn't need Mystical Space Typhoon. Cold Wave and Trunade are used to help you performing your big play safely. Trap Stun can be used to secure your GB from annoying traps such as prison or bth. Seven tools is effective enough to protect your GB, especially the boss cards from terrifying trap cards such as Solemn or Warning. Though Stratos is a dead card because he can't be used in accordance with GB Chariot, he is a nice bait to force your opponent to waste bth or prison or even warning (remember, E Hero Stratos is a +1 card).

The most important things that we need to keep in mind when we create a Prisma GB deck is to use as few monsters as possible. GB relies heavily on one for one trap cards (dimensional prison, bottomless traphole, or compulsory evacuation device) in order to remove opponent's monsters and launch attack in the following turn; thus, GB monsters can switch themselves.

Another example, but this time for GB that utilizes Respite:
Monsters:(16)
3x Test Tiger
2x GB Laquari
2x GB Equeste
1x GB Darius
1x GB Bestiari
1x GB Murmillo
1x GB Retiari
1x GB Secutor
1x GB Hoplomus
1x GB Tegale
1x GB Lanista
1x GB Prisma

Spells:(11)
3x GB Respite
3x Book of Moon
1x Gladiator Proving Ground
1x Cold Wave
1x Giant Trunade
1x Monster Reborn
1x Dark Hole

Traps:(14)
3x GB Chariot
2x Bottomless Trap Hole
2x Dimensional Prison
2x Trap Stun
1x Solemn Warning
1x Solemn Judgment
1x Torrential Tribute
1x Mirror Force
1x Seven Tools of the Bandit

The composition is almost the same with Prisma GLADS, but the difference is in the number of monster cards used. Basically, Prisma Glads is used to summon Gyzarus quickly and reduce your opponent's cards as much and fast as possible. Meanwhile, this type of deck is used to summon Heraklinos via Secutor to control the rest of the game. I personally don't feel comfortable when I have to use Prisma and Secutor at the same time.

Lastly, just a quick tips, GB is pretty fragile to cards such as Effect Veiler and Skill Drain.
Though those cards are annoying, I find a good way to get rid of them. Consider this example:
I summon Gyzarus via contact fusion and then target 2 cards on the field (assume we target one monster face up and one facedown card in spell/trap zone). Suddenly the targeted face down card is Skill Drain! My opponent's chain that card, then what should I do.
The answer is obvious: Make your Gyzarus is no longer face up on the field (cards such as: Compulsory, Book of Moon, Interdimensional, or Torrential can be used). Then, those cards will be resolved backwards, started from your last card that is used to chain your Gyzarus. Since your Gyzarus is no longer face up on the field, the effect of Skill Drain can no longer affect your Gyzarus. As a result, Gyzarus'effect will successfully resolve and destroy the selected cards.

Another misconception that players often think is when Skill Drain is face up on the field, we can't tag another GB out. Again, it is wrong. Since the effect of all GB monsters are resolved in your deck, Skill Drain CANNOT affect them. Skill Drain can only affect your GB once they hit the field FACE UP.

Your opponent cannot also chain Royal Oppression to a GB that has successfully been tagged out from the deck since the effect has been resolved in the deck.

Okay, that's all for today
